    Dr. Patricia Parker

        Veterinarian


    Dr. Parker is a native Houstonian, but through her child-hood she lived in Oklahoma, Missouri, Delaware, California and Athens, Greece before coming back home to Texas. She graduated from Bellaire High School and began her college education at the University of Houston. She completed her first Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science at Texas A&M University in 1980, and the second degree in Veterinary Science in 1983. Dr. Parker received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.

    Dr. Parker worked at M.D. Anderson in the division of Veterinary Medicine & Surgery for family pet cancer treatment. She also spent an internship rotation at the San Antonio Zoo. Dr. Parker practiced small and large animal medicine for 2 years in Katy, Texas, and spent over 13 years in Friendswood treating small animals, birds and pocket pets. Dr. Parker participated in clinical field trial studies for FDA approval for a veterinary drug for Cushing's disease in dogs. She also participated in embryo transfer work in African Borer goats as well as artificial insemination in dogs.

    Dr. Parker joined Dr. Runge and became a partner in August of 2000. In addition to veterinary medicine, Dr. Parker enjoys golfing and fishing. She is an active member of her church and community, providing health care at church pet fairs and participating in career day seminars at many schools.

    She is devoted to her family and practice. Her compassion and bedside manner will be evident when you meet her.

    Dr. Philip Petersen

        Owner


    Dr. Philip Petersen grew up in La Porte and graduated from La Porte High School before attending Texas A&M University in College Station. He received his undergraduate degree from A&M in biomedical science and completed his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M in 2002. Following graduation, Dr. Petersen stayed in the College Station area while his wife finished her veterinary degree working as a mixed animal practitioner in Navasota. After her completion, they returned to the Houston area to focus on small animals and FFA animals in the La Porte area. He joined the staff at Clear Creek in May of 2010 and became a partner in January of 2011.

    He loves fishing, hunting and many other outdoor activities with his two children, Sam and Sydney. Dr. Petersen currently resides in Clear Lake and actively helps in multiple FFA chapters, veterinary associations, and helping raise his wife's families Longhorn Cattle.

  • Dr. Jennifer Webster

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Jennifer Webster is from the Clear Lake area and graduated from Clear Lake High School before heading to Texas A&M University.  In College Station, she completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and finished her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude for both degrees.  Dr. Webster moved to Michigan after graduation for an internship in small animal medicine at Michigan Veterinary Specialists.  She returned to Texas after her internship and worked at VCA Mainland Animal Hospital until joining the staff at Clear Creek Animal Hospital in 2015.  She enjoys working with both small animals and exotics.  Dr. Webster lives in Seabrook with her husband, James, their son, Ayden, and their dogs.  Her hobbies include scuba diving and dancing.

    Dr. Jana Petersen

        Veterinarian


    Dr. Jana Petersen is a native Houstonian. She grew up in northwest Houston and graduated from Cy-Fair high school. After high school, she attended Texas A&M University earning a B.S. in Biomedical Science. In 1999, she spent a year of graduate study in Parasitology. Dr. Petersen graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2004 with predominate study in small animal medicine. She has been attending to the needs of cats and dogs since graduating. She now lives in Clear Lake with her husband, who is also a veterinarian at Clear Creek, their children, Sydney and Sam, and their dogs and cats. Her hobbies include gardening and visiting the family ranch where she enjoys raising Texas Longhorn cattle.

    Dr. Kimberly Runge

        Veterinarian

    Growing up in nearby Texas City, becoming a veterinarian had been a lifelong dream for Dr. Runge. In 1981, she graduated from Texas A & M magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science, and cum laude in Veterinary Science in 1983. During veterinary college she was in the Honor Society of Phi Zeta and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.

    Before settling in Seabrook in 1990, Dr. Runge practiced in Corpus Christi, Freer, and Texas City. She purchased Clear Creek Animal Hospital from Dr. Charles Hoover in 1995.
    Dr. Runge belongs to the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practice, which requires 50 hours of continuing education a year. She is also a member of the Veterinary Medical Association of America, Texas and Harris County, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the American Animal Hospital Association. In 2002 she was honored to receive Best of the Bay Award for Veterinarian. Dr. Runge believes in compassionate care for the pet, as well as the people who love them.
